We're Off!

Today we're heading down to Quito for our first leg of the journey. The week was filled with excitement as we made our final preparations for the trip. We're all packed up and ready to go! We'll try and keep all of our supporters back here up to date, via this blog, on our experiences throughout the trip.

    I miss my girls already. Having a little fun with my blog picture, just wanted to let you know I picked out my wedding dress too. Call me when you can and I will blog you and keep you up on things back here. I am praying for you both and am proud of you. God loves you and so do I.

    Thank you for calling me and letting me know you and your fellow travelers arrived safely. It is hard for me to put aside my selfishness on struggling with you being gone, but I know that God has always had big plans for you. This mission is taylor made for you and I know that the children will benefit from their time with you as your capicity for love is unrivaled. I miss you and I love you.

    I know that I am not your Dad, but my pride and love for you is with a Father's heart. Your spirit and devotion to God will shine through and you will make a positive impact on the lives that you touch through this mission. I know that God will watch over you, but I reserve the right to worry about you until I can hug you again. Take care of your mom for me. I love you and look forward to your safe return.

    Sounds like the adventure has begun. Johnathan is now well on his way to his new life in GA and I am beginning my adjustment to the new path that God has set me on. I will text or call Lu and Jos every day and will send you updates. I love you be safe.

Mark has promised that he will keep us informed as to your whereabouts and your adventures.
